About Us: Mission & Philosophy

Sancta Maria Nursing Facility's mission is to witness Christ's compassion, caring and love, reflecting the Catholic Church's role in the continuation of Christ's healing ministry.

Committed to the values of dignity and respect, life, service and social justice, Sancta Maria strives to provide quality health care to all of its patients and residents.

A Philosophy of Excellence & Respect
In every respect, Sancta Maria Nursing Facility's institutional values reflect the philosophy and mission of our sponsoring group, The Daughters of Mary of the Immaculate Conception, whose ministries in three states encompass health care, education, day care services, residences for women and care of the elderly.

We believe that a nursing center's role in the Catholic Church is an extension and continuation of the healing mission of Jesus. Our overall purpose is to provide excellence in healthcare and to render high-caliber total care to each resident. This involves integrating our approach so it meets not only physiological but also the psychological and spiritual needs of each resident.

This philosophy is prevalent at Sancta Maria, and such care is given to every resident regardless of sex, age, race, ethnic background, religion, financial status or social condition.

The spirit of our total care philosophy is also extended every day to the families of our Residents and to the families who are evaluating the placement of a loved-one in a skilled nursing environment. We understand and respect the difficulty of making such decisions, and strive to make the process an easier one for all.
